| Description: | The meeting time for the Photo Shoot will be at 10:45 am with the starting time being 11:00 am and expected finish about 1:00 pm. This works well with the tide as low tide is approximately 10:30 am so will give lots of beach to reveal photo treasuresThe start & end point will be at Patricia Bay Park which is located on West Saanich Rd., just past Willingdon Rd (the one that runs through the airport) and before Mills Rd. (where Holy Trinity Church is located). There is a trail called Scoter Trail that runs right above the beach from the Park to Munro Rd. where there's a beach access. The return can then be either on the Trail or on the beach, whichever you prefer. As most of you probably know, returning on the same route as you came will often give you a perspective that's different enough to show totally different photo ops. On the other hand, returning along the beach will give some entirely different shots.
Another potential photo op is at Holy Trinity Church which celebrated its 125th anniversary last month and also has an attached pioneer cemetery for those who might wish to cross the road to take some photos there. There is the possibility that we can actually go inside the church for photos......this will be confirmed shortly one way or t'other.
We can meet for lunch after the Photo Shoot at the Spitfire Grill restaurant located just off of Willingdon Rd at my suggested arrival time of 1:30 pm.

Get one-on-one help with all areas of computer use--hardware, program set-up, internet surfing, email and newsgroups. Join our membership, sign up for courses, borrow books from our library. We enjoy helping people of all ages learn to use computers. So take an afternoon to come and meet us. Coffee $0.35 and pop/iced tea $1.00. |
